For best accuracy, align the unit so the ball or bat passes through the detection zone roughly 20–50 feet away, or position the radar about 45° to the batter during swing measurements. With proper setup, you can expect stable, repeatable readings that align with your drill goals across multiple sports.

Unlike traditional gun-style radars that require a second person, the NET PLAYZ Smart Pro can be used solo. Mount it on the included tripod, aim along your drill, and start training. The hands-free setup supports independent practice, making it ideal for players who train alone or run small group sessions without a dedicated partner.

The built-in voice announcements read each speed aloud in real time, which is especially helpful when visibility is limited or you’re practicing without glasses. Real-world use tips

Place the radar behind a pitching net for solo pitching drills, or in front of the pitcher when a catcher is present. For hitting practice, position about 45° to the side of the batter, aiming toward the swing direction. The result is a practical, repeatable training setup you can adapt across drills and sports.
